Report Plan:

• Paraphrase paragraph: shows>compares; graduating from>after graduation in; destinations>occupational categories
• Overview/summary paragraph:  (1) more graduates entered full-time employment than any other category (2) a high number of Physics graduated found full-time employment
• Paragraph 3: compare the number of graduates in full-time and part-time employment.  Compare unemployment figures.
• Paragraph 4: compare numbers doing postgraduate study and those in other fields.

Essay Plan:

• Introduction:  refer to the task statement.  State that the are many problems, but there are solutions.
• Paragaraph 2:  effects/problems: (1) housing inequality – suburbs/slums (2) unemployment – youth crime
• Paragraph 3:  solutions: (1) restore derelict buildings, build new apartments (2) more jobs, youth training, police action
• Conclusion:  there are solutions to some important problems of the growth of cities
