Report Plan:

• Paraphrase paragraph: shows>compares; production>the amount produced; regions>areas
• Overview/summary paragraph: (1) Africa had the highest production (2) Oceania produced the lowest quantity
• Paragraph 3: select and compare figures for Africa and South America
• Paragraph 4: select and compare figures for the other 4 regions.

Essay Plan:

• Introduction: refer to the task question.  My opinion – I disagree that most people will continue to rely on newspapers to know the news
• Paragraph 2:  elderly people will continue to  read newspapers.  However, most people will not: (1) newspapers are expensive (2) they cannot report the latest news.
• Paragraph 3:  most people now rely on the internet for news (1) it is instant (2) it often also provides video for news stories (3) it is free
• Conclusion: I disagree with the statement, because the internet will become increasingly important as a source for news.
