Report Plan:

• Paraphrase paragraph:  percentage>proportion;  by age group>according to four age groups; four situations>various situations
• Overview/summary paragraph:  (1) 18-29 year-olds used their mobile phones more than other age groups  (2) mobile phones were used on public transportation and in the street more than in restaurants or during family dinners
• Paragraph 3:  select, report and compare % of mobile phone use (all ages) for public transportation and in the street 
• Paragraph 4:  select, report and compare % of mobile phone use (all ages) for restaurants and during family dinners

Essay Plan:

• Introduction:  refer to the task question.  My opinion: many skills are necessary, and maths is essential for success
• Paragraph 2:  a new business.  Need for calculations – e.g. an art studio
• Paragraph 3:  an established business.  Calculating running costs – rent, energy, taxes.  Technology and accountants help a lot, but a business person still needs to understand finances.
• Conclusion:  Many skills are required, including the essential skill of maths
