Report Plan:

• Paraphrase paragraph: gives information about>compares; five countries>Japan, China, Mexico, Russia and Saudi Arabia; between 2010 and 2012>over a three-year period
• Overview/summary paragraph: (1) the value of exports to Japan, China and Russia increased (2) the figures fluctuated for Mexico and Saudi Arabia
• Paragraph 3: select and report figures for the increased value of kiwi fruit exports to Japan, China and Russia
• Paragraph 4:  contrast, select and report figures for the fluctuating value of kiwi fruit exports to Mexico and Saudi Arabia.

Essay Plan:

• Introduction: refer to the task question.  My opinion: the disadvantages outweigh the advantages
• Paragraph 2: advantages (1) social media - sometimes the only way to maintain contact with friends/family (2) social media sites – it is possible to keep in touch with a large number of people e.g. Facebook
• Paragraph 3: disadvantages (1) no human contact – people fail to develop social skills (2) lack of privacy of social media – stealing of personal information
• Conclusion:  drawbacks of social media outweigh the advantages.
