Hướng dẫn Task 1:

Report Plan:

  • Paraphrase paragraph:  shows>illustrates; percentage>proportion; world>global; projections>predicted figures
  • Overview/summary paragraph: (1) percentage declined in China, the USA, Japan, contrast India (2) trends are forecast to continue to 2050.
  • Paragraph 3: report and compare figures/trends 1950 and 2002.
  • Paragraph 4: report and compare predicted figures for 2050.

Hướng dẫn Task 2:

Essay Plan:

  • Introduction: refer to the task question. My own opinion: (1) advertising is harmful for youngsters (2) regulation has not been effective, and so all adverts should be banned.
  • Paragraph 2: first reason – advertising has a negative impact on children’s behaviour: e.g. eating habits (Burger King example).  Bad for children’s health.
  • Paragraph 3: second reason – advertising has a negative impact on children’s mental health.  They are encouraged to want things, not to care about others.
  • Conclusion: advertisements damage the physical and mental well-being of youngsters and should be banned completely.
